Jarrett E. Cohen

Mr. Cohen serves as a Principal and Chief Investment Officer of JECohen Holdings, LLC (“JECohen”), a New Orleans-based asset management firm. JECohen directs investments on behalf of individuals and institutions on a discretionary basis in public equity, public debt, and private real estate markets while adhering to a disciplined value-oriented investment approach.
Mr. Cohen began his career in the New York City office of Deloitte & Touche. Prior to founding JECohen, he served as an Assistant Vice President of Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s wealth management division in Houston, TX. In January 2014, he was appointed a National Diversity Champion for the southwest region of the firm, which mentors diverse financial advisors.
Most recently, Mr. Cohen was admitted into the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute (NORLI) Class of 2017 and appointed to LSU’s National Diversity Advisory Board. He also serves on the LSU CFP Board-Registered Program Advisory Board through the E.J. Ourso College of Business and the advisory board of Yellowstone Academy, a non-profit private school in the third ward of Houston that focuses on children living in extremely low socioeconomic circumstances.
Mr. Cohen received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and a minor in internal auditing from LSU in 2008. He is a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute.
